Re: The patients were operated on for the STC (post treatment)??.

Dr. Gerold R Ebenbichler:

Hello, I'm a student of Kinesiology in "Universidad de las Americas" Chile. First, I'd like to congratulate the author on the publication in BMJ of the paper "Ultrasound treatment for treating the carpal tunnel syndrome: randomised "sham" controlled trial", a very good work. But I have a question; were the patients operated on for the STC (post treatment)??.

This question is because we are making a review of "Conservative treatments for the STC", and we need to know whether these patients eventually underwent surgery to root of STC.

For your attention thank you very much, your work been very useful to us thank you very much again.
