Pressured general practices get £16m support fund

NHS England has released the first instalment of its £40m (€47.3m; $52.9m) rescue package to help struggling general practices across the country.

An initial £16m released last week will be targeted at practices that have been under most pressure and those with workforce issues. It will fund practical support in areas such as staffing, practice management, human resources, and information technology.
