Fifty years of violent war deaths from Vietnam to Bosnia: analysis of data from the world health survey programme
In the full text version of this research paper by Ziad Obermeyer and colleagues (BMJ Jun 2008; doi: 10.1136/bmj.a137), the abstract incorrectly refers to the Democratic Republic of Congo. It should instead say Republic of Congo, which was formerly known as Congo Brazzaville. The country is correctly cited in the rest of the paper, and the mention of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the key messages box is correct.
