The return of the spoof

In this Observations "Medicine and the media" article by Bob Burton, three points need correcting or clarifying (BMJ 2008;336:589, 15 Mar; doi: 10.1136/bmj.39503.716412.0F). Firstly, at the end of the third paragraph the name of the Consumers International spokesman is Luke [not Simon] Upchurch. Secondly, the first sentence of the fifth paragraph should say that the videos Pharma Confidential and Pharma TV were "created and produced by Ray Moynihan, co-author of the book Selling Sickness (and a BMJ visiting editor), and Miranda Burne." Thirdly, the 24 minute video The New Epidemic is not available on the internet and is available only on DVD from the producers (for contact details see www.screenworks.com.au/members/index.php?a=detail&id=4602).
