Effect of clomifene citrate plus metformin and clomifene citrate plus placebo on induction of ovulation in women with newly diagnosed polycystic ovary syndrome: randomised double blind clinical trial

The authors of this paper published in June 2006, Etelka Moll and colleagues, have recently pointed out an omission in table 1 of the online full version (BMJ 2006; doi: 10.1136/bmj.38867.631551.55). For mean (standard deviation) homeostasis model assessment (HOMA) the data were available for only 56 women in the clomifene citrate plus metformin group and 57 women in the clomifene citrate plus placebo group. This does not affect the data or the conclusions of the paper.
