Who is favourite to lead WHO?

Over the next two weeks WHO's executive board will select its next director general (see this week's BMJ news).

When we asked bookmakers Ladbrokes for the betting odds on the leadership contest we discovered it was a race that had passed them by. But after overnight consideration they produced the following odds:
