Children in women's refuges have unmet health needs

Children living in refuges for women victims of domestic violence have many unmet health needs, particularly in relation to mental health difficulties. This is the finding of a cross sectional study by Webb et al (p 210), who studied 148 children living for varying periods at refuges in Cardiff from April 1999 to January 2000.
