Reanalysis of Gulf war vaccination data does not contradict findings

EDITOR—Professors Graham Dunn and Brian Everitt have pointed out to us in a personal communication that a different statistical method would have been more appropriate in our paper on the effects of multiple vaccines on the health of Gulf war veterans.1 In that paper we assessed the effect of multiple vaccines received either before or during deployment to the Gulf as two separate exposures.
