An editorial error occurred in this authors' reply by Paul Aveyard and others (5 February, p 447). "Smoking cessation" wasomitted in the last sentence of the second paragraph, which shouldhave read: "On this basis, it seems more likely that the smokingcessation expert system for adults, the only one that can be comparedwith the system for adults, should be more successful and requirefewer sessions, yet we found noeffect."
