In this paper by Takis Panagiotopoulos and colleagues (4 December 1999, pp 1462-7), the first sentence of the final paragraphof the results section (p 1465) should have read: "Only sporadiccases of congenital rubella were reported in Greece in 1950-92:1952 (one case), 1954-5 (five), 1974-8513 [[not 1974-85¹³]], 1980 (one), 1983 (three), and 1986-7 (four).^w43w49
