Kurt Stange, MD, PhD, has been named editor of the Annals of Family Medicine, a new journal that will publish original primarycare research. Dr Stange is a professor of family medicine, epidemiology/biostatistics, oncology, and sociology at Case Western ReserveUniversity in Cleveland. William Phillips, MD, MPH, a family physicianfrom Seattle, has been named senior associate editor of the newjournal, which will be published by the American Academy of FamilyPhysicians, in collaboration with five other family medicine organizations.The journal will debut in the spring of2003.
