MRSA rates in NHS drop again: The number of patients in Englandinfected with meticillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus fellfor the fourth consecutive quarter, the Healthcare Commissionhas said. The number of cases reported to the Health ProtectionAgency in October to December 2008 was 7% lower than in theprevious quarter and 38% lower than the corresponding quarterof 2007.
