EDITOR—The news that Bush plans to screen the whole USpopulation for mental illness was not reported in the UnitedStates [by 24 June].¹ Even if true, with more than 40 millionof the US population uninsured for health care, this initiativeis unlikely to materialise into anything as scary or brilliant,depending on your political viewpoint.
