An unlikely public healthcare initiative

EDITOR—The news that Bush plans to screen the whole US population for mental illness was not reported in the United States [by 24 June].1 Even if true, with more than 40 million of the US population uninsured for health care, this initiative is unlikely to materialise into anything as scary or brilliant, depending on your political viewpoint.
