Assay performed by adding 20 µl sample to 980 µl Folin
reagent diluted 1/10 with distilled water; colour allowed to develop
for 0.5-2.5 hours the absorbance of the solution at 750 nm was read.
Samples were compared with a standard curve prepared by adding 10-50 µl of 1 mmol/l catechin solution to Folin reagent. Standard curves
measured on three days had R2 values of 0.9984-0.9999.
