Editor's Choice | This Week in BMJ | Press releases BMJ No 7128 Volume 316 Information in Practice Saturday 31 January 1998 Advisers for the BMJNotesThe BMJis looking for new advisers to help select material for its information management section, "Information in Practice." Applications are invited from doctors, researchers, and information scientists to join our selection committee, which meets approximately once a month to discuss submissions for the section and commission ideas. Applicants should ideally have a background in clinical practice or research and should be interested in using information management to enhance patient care. Experience of peer review is helpful but not essential.Applicants must be able to attend meetings at BMA House on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings. Each meeting lasts about one and a half hours, and papers are distributed and read in advance. Members are paid sessional fees for reading and attending meetings. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and those appointed will be subject to mutual review after three months.
