Existing users: acquiring a username and password

Until now, access to the signup page for email alerts has required only an email address. To increase the security of your personal details we now require a username and password. We have preserved your original alerts.
To take advantage of this increased security, please sign in using the instructions which follow in the box below.
| User Name | = your full email address |
| Password | = the portion of your email before the '@' sign |
Example for a user with the email address: jbloggs@cnn.com
| User Name | = jbloggs@cnn.com |
| Password | = jbloggs |
If your email address has an apostrophe or single quote (eco'grady@sample.com), the apostrophe/single quote has been removed from your temp user name. It has not been removed from the email address we sent your alerts to.
