Maggie Butler

Maggie worked as a laboratory technician for 17 years, with her last job being in the immunology department of the Institute for Child Health. After a short break to start a family she gained a degree in cell and molecular biology and started work as a freelance copy editor. During this time she became the technical editor of the Journal of Clinical Pathology and its Molecular Pathology supplement. Maggie has worked at the BMJ since 2005. She is responsible for editorials but also works on most other parts of the journal.
