David Payne

David worked as a print journalist for 10 years, primarily on healthcare titles. He then worked briefly for a dotcom start-up in 2000 before joining the UK Food Standards Agency as head of web/editorial in 2001, where he launched and developed its websites, intranet and blogs. He joined the BMJ in March 2008 as editor of bmj.com and is now also the journal's readers' editor.
