    EDITOR,—E H Boxall commented recently1 on the results of studies of screening for hepatitis B virus in antenatal clinics in the Netherlands2 3 and recommended a policy of universal antenatal screening in Britain. We are concerned about policies as they affect the Chinese community in Britain, a population with a high prevalence of carriers of hepatitis B.
