    EDITOR,—The relation between muscle pain, tender points, the chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia are complex, and simplistic answers are inappropriate. In their paper Peter Croft and colleagues extrapolate their results to make two statements that I believe to be incorrect.1
